The invention concerns a unit for feeding fuel from the fuel tank of a vehicle to the engine, said unit set comprising an electric motor driving a flow pump (11) whose housing (16, 21) is rigidly connected to the housing (32) of the set and forms the pump chamber (17) in which the feeding means (12) driven by the drive motor rotates. An insert (51) made of wear-resistant material is fitted on at least one of the parts of the housing (16, 21) surrounding the pump chamber (17), the insert forming at least part of one of the wall which delimits the pump chamber (17) in the direction of the axis of rotation (15) of the feeding means (12).
