摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the speed of force damping without generating a noise. CONSTITUTION:A waveform generator 21 generates musical sound waveform data according to an indication from a CPU 10, detects the generated musical sound waveform data being at or nearby a zero-cross point. and outputs a zero-cross detection signal DS to an envelope generator 22 and also outputs envelope data ED to a multiplier 23 in synchronism with the generation of the musical sound waveform data, but at the time of force damping, the envelope data ED are attenuated speedily. When the envelope data ED are varied greatly nearby the peak of the musical sound waveform data at the time of the force damping, the actual amplitude variation becomes large and a noise due to the discontinuity of the waveform is generated. When the zero-cross detection signal DS is inputted, the envelope data ED are varied greatly. The zero-cross detection signal DS is outputted nearby the zero-cross point of the musical sound waveform data, so even if the envelope varies greatly, the actual amplitude variation is fine and a noise due to the variation is hardly generated.
