In a machine with a monitor mounted on an item of furniture, a control unit for controlling the development of the game with a microprocessor, equipment for accepting payment means, indicators for the final calculation and credit counters, controls and a control element configured as a rifle, with which images on the monitor may be varied, the process is characterized in that the recreational machine may be placed in adjustment mode and in that control buttons are represented on the part of the control unit; when actuated with a reticular cross their position is varied according to an increment and a direction which can be pre-established, the reticular cross being represented on the monitor by the control unit and its position varied by varying the point of the rifle's target. The divergence between the line of sight and the axis of the bore of the rifle's barrel may be adjusted without auxiliary means.
