Chair comprising a backrest (11) and a seat (12) and a support frame (2), attachment elements (23, 43) to attach the body-supporting elements (11, 12) to the said support frame (2). Each body-supporting element (11, 12) is shaped by a set of interconnected slats (3). The slats (3) are directly connected to each other along the long side (39) by means of connecting elements (20). Each set of slats is doubly suspended using a dual operation suspension system (S1, S2) comprise a first suspension level with external linking in pairs of adjoining slats (3', 3") by means of first intermediate pieces (31) and from a second suspension level with external linking in pairs of the adjoining intermediate pieces mentioned (31', 31"), by means of further suspension parts (32', 33, 32"), which are directly (23) or indirectly (23, 33, 24) connected to the support frame (2) so that the slats (3) can move together in two dimensions. |
