PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel and a device which inhibit the intrusion of the roots of a plant into the setting panel and the device for the hydroponics, are free from the growth of algae, etc., in the panel and the device and on the surfaces of the panel and the device, and are suitable for repeated employments and whose surfaces are substantially not scratched, and further to provide methods for producing the panel and the device. SOLUTION: This setting panel 11 is produced from a styrenic resin, is used for the hydroponics, and has plural setting holes 12. Smooth surface skin layers S free from steam holes are formed at least on the front and back surfaces of the panel and on the inner wall surfaces of the setting holes. This device for the hydroponics is produced by setting the panel on a foamed styrenic resin-made hydroponic tank wherein smooth skin surface layers free from steam holes are formed at least on the whole inner surfaces. This method for producing the plant-setting panel comprises charging raw material beads (pellets) in a space formed of a steam hole-free mold and plural setting pins disposed in the mold, and heating the mold and the pins to foam and mold the beads and simultaneously form the skin layers. This method for producing the hydroponic device comprises charging raw material beads in a space formed of a steam hole-free mold, heating the mold to foam and mold the beads and simultaneously form the skin layers, and subsequently setting the setting panel on the produced hydroponic tank. |
