PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade collision between moving robots by including moving robot identification(ID) information in transmission data and executing infrared-ray communication. SOLUTION: A unique ID number is applied to each moving robot 10 provided with a transmitting/receiving unit 24 constituted of a pair of light emitting and light receiving elements 18, 20 as moving robot ID information. A control part 12 executes control so as to obtain a robot ID number by always emitting infrared rays including information indicating its own robot ID number from the element 18 and extracting information indicating the robot ID number included in infrared rays received by the element 20. Since the robot 10 moves while transmitting its own robot ID number by the element 18 and checking the robot ID number included in infrared rays received by the element 20, the robot 10 can detect the existence of another moving robot or an obstacle and evade collision with the robot or the obstacle. |
