PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce the manufacturing cost by driving a discharge port door by using a DC motor and to hold the stability of an apparatus by the use of a DC power source. SOLUTION: The discharge port switching apparatus for an air conditioner comprises a suction port for sucking the indoor air, an indoor heat exchanger of heat exchanging the indoor air sucked via the port, a discharge port for discharging the heat exchanged air by the exchanger, and a discharge port door for swinging the discharge port. The apparatus further comprises drive operation means 25 for inputting the drive and stop signals of the conditioner, door motor drive means 40 for driving a DC door motor for swinging the discharge port door according to the drive or stop signal input by the means 25, and control means 30 for controlling the power source so as to be applied to the motor according to the drive or strop signal input by the means 25. |
