PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an unsatd. polyester resin compsn. excellent in adhesion to a galvanized steel sheet and an aluminum sheet and imroved in polishability, moisture resistance, durability, and dryability by compounding a specific unsatd. polyester and a polymerizable liq. unsatd. compd. SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises 20-70wt.% polymerizable liq. unsatd. compd. and 30-80wt.% unsatd. polyester which is obtd. by reacting a polybasic acid component comprising 10-99.5 mol%αβ-unsatd. polybasic acid and 0.5-90mol% satd. polybasic acid contg. 0.5-10mol% sodium 1,3- dicarboxybenzene-5-sulfonate, a polyhydric alcohol component of which 2-50mol% is accounted for by an ethylene oxide adduct to bisphenol A represented by formula I (wherein (n) is 1-5) and/or a propylene oxide adduct to bisphenol A represented by formula II (wherein (n) is 1-5), dicyclopentadiene, and an air-drying component component an allyl compd. and/or an animal or vegetable oil.
