<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the level of solid propagation sound emitted from each part of a pump device so as to aim at a low noise level by interposing an elastic body between a motor chamber and a pump chamber, in such a pump device that the motor chamber in which a electromagnetic type motor is arranged and the pump chamber are positioned side by side. SOLUTION: In the case of a spiral pump device for water supply mounted on a slab serving as a foundation 10, such a structure is composed as vertically stacking a motor chamber 1 in which a electromagnetic type motor is arranged and a pump chamber 3 by interposing an elastic body 2 between themselves so as to be covered with an enclosure 4. This enclosure 4 is composed of a bottom plate 5 on which a pump device is mounted and a box type cover 9 for covering all of the pump device and the bottom plate 5. As a result of driving of a electromagnetic type motor, a large electro-magnetic vibration corresponding to a power supply frequency takes place in the motor chamber 1, this electro-magnetic vibration is insulated by the elastic body 2 to be hardly transmitted to the pump chamber 3 so that large noise caused by sound radiation can be restricted.</p> |
