FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has an insulation casing with external ribs made up of two hermetically interconnected parts and furnished with two electrical leads in the upper and lower ends. The casing accommodates a nonlinear resistor and components of its attachment and contact transfer to the leads. Both parts of the insulation casing are made in the form of cups, the end part of each of them has a central hole with a rod electrical lead arranged in it. The casing wall edges are interconnected with the aid of sealing adhesive. The method of manufacture of the device for overvoltage protection consists in connection of the two parts of the insulation casing with simultaneous sealing of the joint, arrangement of the nonlinear resistor and components of its attachment inside the casing and components of contacts transfer, wiring of the electrical leads with simultaneous sealing of the insulation casing. First installation of the rod electrical leads with their simultaneous sealing is accomplished, then the nonlinear resistor, its components of attachment and contact transfer are placed in one casing part. After that both parts of the insulation casing are joined by adhesion. EFFECT: reduced specific consumption of materials and device dimensions, reduced labour content of assembly. |
