FIELD: production of cold-bent sheet rolled products with periodical corrugations, in particular, for telescopic boom of crane truck. SUBSTANCE: high-rigidity profile manufactured from steel with yield limit of $$$ = 265-500 MPa has closed transverse corrugations and flange adjoining edge portion and having height equal to profile thickness. Corrugations have round portions of equal radii at bases and apexes in transverse and longitudinal sections. Basic geometrical parameters of profile are determined by ratio L : B, $$$ = (1.2-1.5) 10 $$$, where l, B and H are length, width and height of corrugations; L is axial space between corrugations. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. |
