PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque detection means as a replacement of a distortion gauze. SOLUTION: A push rim 6 is attached on the side of a hand wheel 2 rotatably around the hand wheel 2 by way of a side plate 7, and a wire 8, which is to transmit the amount of displacement resulting from the relative rotation of the hand wheel 2 and the push rim 6, is guided to the center of the hub 11 of the hand wheel 2. A wheel axle 3 goes through the center of the hub 11, and a potentiometer 5 is installed in the extended axle. And one end of the wire 8 is indirectly connected to the potentiometer 5. The amount of displacement of the side plate 7 is detected by the potentiometer 5 through the wire 8, and a direct current motor in the hub 11 is driven based on the detected data to assist the rotation of the hand wheel 2. |
