CRANK MECHANISM FOR REVERSIBLE MACHINE

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: crank mechanism has a cylinder bank made up as two rectangular frames 5 and 8 one of which is above the other. Frame 5 connected with two covers 2 defines the housing of the device. Inner frame 8 moves in guides 12 inside the frame of housing 5 to form spaces (ii) and (iv) inside chamber 6. Inside frame 8 piston 10 moves in guides 13 to form spaces (i) and (iii) inside chamber 9. The piston has an opening wherein crank 11 is received. Cover 1 is also provided with opening 3 wherein shaft 4 is received. Shaft 4 and crank 11 are interconnected to form a crank shaft. Shaft 4 has openings 14 and 15. Crank 11 is provided with a slide valve with spaces 18 and 17 separated by baffle 18. Piston 10 is provided with openings 19-22. Walls 25 and 26 of frame 8 have ports 23 and 24. When fluid is supplied under pressure to opening 14 the device is a fluid-actuated motor. When shaft 4 rotates the device is a pump. EFFECT: improved design. 4 cl, 4 dwg
