In a process for pyrolytic production of a transmission-reducing layer of antimony oxide-doped tin oxide on glass or glass-ceramic, the novelty is that the layer contains Sn and Sb in the molar ratio 1:0.2-0.5. Also claimed is a preparation for pyrolytic deposition of a transmission-reducing layer on glass or glass-ceramic, the preparation consisting of 97-70 wt. parts tin compound and 3-30 wt. parts antimony compound, mixed with 0-60% (by wt. of the above compounds) of an organic solvent or solvent mixture and/or water. |
