FIELD: chemical and metallurgical industries. SUBSTANCE: aim of invention is ensuring operation of fluidized-bed furnace on dehydration of thermolabile carnallite hexahydrate monocrystals and sodium chloride crystals to specified level. Carnallite dehydration process includes charging initial material wetted with mother magnesium chloride solution into the first chamber, drying and partial dehydration, displacement of particles' stream from one chamber to another on the level of gas-distribution grate, separately discharging coarse and fine fractions from third chamber on the grate level and from bed level, respectively. When moved from one chamber to another, stream is divided into two parts, coarse fractions being stirred on the level of gas-distribution grate and fine ones from bed level. Speed of coarse fractions' travel is below that of charging initial material (on conversion to dehydrated product). EFFECT: increased reliability of operation. |
