Valve drive with roller rocker arms

The arrangement consists of a first rocker arm, which engages at one end with a valve stem and at the other end, via a roller, with a camshaft. The rocker arm incorporates part of a carrier for a coupling to a second rocker arm which incorporates the second part of the carrier. The axes (A4/5,A52) of the first (4) and second (5) rocker arms, of the roller (42), of the camshaft (1) and the carriers (13) are located on approximately the corners of a square. The diagonals of the square are determined by the largest cam radius (R2m) and the outside diameter (D5) of the second rocker arm hub.
