The drill bit has a cylindrical body (10) with a working head (12) and opposite clamping ends (14) for a drilling machine. The working head has at least two polycrystalline diamond (PCD) cutting elements (18) opposite each other. Each has an upward-curved cutting edge (24) and a straight outer edge (26), with the outer edges defining the drilling measurement. The cylindrical body may have recesses (28) under each cutting element to receive chips and other detritus from the drilling. |
