<p>An apparatus for spray electroplating of metal onto a panel surface that moves through a plating chamber (10), the apparatus employing roller brushes (13) which are positioned between electrolyte spray heads (17) and the panel (11). Metal anodes (15) are positioned to contact the fluffy, adsorbent outer layer of the roller brushes (13) while they are being wet by the electrolyte to provide for electrical contact between the anodes (15) and the panel (11) being plated. A suitable power supply (16) has its positive terminal connected to the anodes and its negative terminal connected to the moving panel.</p> |
