New curable inorganic resins based on alkali metal aluminosilicates which, in the fluid state before curing, contain the inorganic elements in the following proportions expressed as their molar ratio of oxides: X2O denotes one or more alkali metal oxides chosen from Na2O, K2O and Li2O, and E denoting one or more oxides chosen from oxides of transition elements in which one of the degrees of oxidation is higher than or equal to 3 and the oxides of so-called glass-forming elements. The invention also relates to the process for the preparation of these new inorganic resins. The cured resins obtained are very stable with time and at high temperatures.
