<p>Woven or knitted goods of cellulosic fibers grafted with hydrophilic vinyl monomers, having excellent hygroscopicity and being well wearable; woven or knitted goods of cellulosic fibers grafted with hydrophilic vinyl monomers, having a shrinking percentage of 2 % or less after washing, and being excellent in configurational stability; and shrinkproof woven or knitted goods of a combination of polyester fibers with cellulosic fibers. The grafting process comprises impregnating woven or knitted goods with an aqueous solution containing a hydrophilic vinyl monomer and a polymerization initiator, followed by heat treatment and washing. The configurational stability is imparted to the goods by cross-linking cellulosic fibers before, during or after the grafting.</p> |
