PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input device, which can be made compact, light in weight and thin and can be produced inexpensively, like an electronic still camera connectable while being directly loaded to the slot for card type recording medium (slot of PC card) of external device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a slot loading part 4 to be loaded to the slot for card type recording medium of external device and an unloading part 5, which is thicker than the slot loading part, provided at the external end. This unloading part 5 is connected to the slot loading part 4 by any mechanical connecting means composed of a turning shaft 11 so as to be turned into relatively freely movable state. Further, both the members are connected by an electric connecting means 12. Thus, when the slot loading part 4 is loaded to this slot for card type recording medium, the attitude of unloading part 5 can be changed. The unloading part 5 is provided with a photographic lens 6 faced to a photographing object and an optical system unit composed of an imaging device for converting a fetched image to an electric signal, and used as the main body of electronic still camera 1. |
