PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the processing time by supplying the describer entry number of data packet to a prescribed position when putting that data packet into a queue, writing the data packet into another storage field and comparing both contents with each other. SOLUTION: The host memory 49 of a host device 48 is provided with a data structure having plural entries containing the entry numbers and the position information of data to be transferred. Storage positions 50a-50m of system/ ATM core 22 are respectively connected to the host device 48 and provided with 1st storage fields 52a-52m for storing the entry numbers corresponding to the position information of data to be transferred and 2nd storage fields 54a-54m for storing the entry numbers corresponding to the position information of transferred data. Then, a comparator circuit compares the contents of 1st storage fields with the contents of 2nd storage fields. Thus, the overhead and processing time of transaction can be reduced.
