<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for executing dull rolling of a metallic sheet without causing any unevenness of color tone and brightness in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: In this dull rolling method of the final pass at the time of rolling the metallic sheet P using a cold rolling mill 1, a brightness measuring instrument 8 is provided on the outlet side of the rolling mill 1, brightness is measured with the measuring instrument 8, a measured brightness is compares with the target brightness and the difference between them is calculated. By using a preliminary given relationship between the variation of draft and the variation of brightness, the target draft is calculated from the difference of brightness and the draft at this point of time and, by changing the screw-down location of the rolling mill 1, the color tone and brightens are controlled constant.</p> |
