PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely seal a lamp socket to a reflection mirror and facilitate the electric connection of a lamp in the lamp socket. SOLUTION: The casing 14 of a lamp socket has a blocked end on the side opposite to a reflection mirror 12, and an opened end on the side opposite to the blocked end, a lamp 10 is fitted from the opened end, a seal member 40 for sealing the casting 14 to the reflection mirror 12 is arranged between the casing 14 and the reflection mirror 12. The lamp socket has an adapter, and the adapter has at least one electric contact member 20 for the lamp which is arranged within the casing and at least one contact member 22 for the connection to a power source through a plug member which is protruded from the casing 14.
