PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for horizontally moving an elevator between car frames of the elevator and between an elevator hall and the car frame of the elevator. SOLUTION: This elevator system has a plurality of elevator platforms (car frames 13, 14 and elevator halls 21, 22) and a cage cab. This cage cab is horizontally movable in at least one of the direction from the first platform of the platforms to the second platform, and the reversed direction thereof. This system also has a horizontally moving means for pinions 31-36 with motors provided on one of the platforms, whereby the cage cab is moved in either one of the above directions, and moved to the corresponding platform. |
