<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a menu in the suitable order of menu items corresponding to the contents of edited matter (object) itself prepared by using a graphic editor or a document editor. SOLUTION: An object 32 is accessed, object elements (such as shape and color) in that object are read and the rate of occupation is calculated for each menu item corresponding to each object element. The rate of occupation shows the ratio of this object element existent in the object. Corresponding to the order of occupation rate levels, the order of respective menu items is decided and in the order, the menu is displayed. As a reference for deciding the arrangement of display, the occupation rate and the number of times of selection can be selected. When prescribed conditions are satisfied, the menu is reconstituted.</p> |
