ANTIBATERIAL CONVERTED PAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform antibacterial treatment simultaneously with printing of pattern without requiring any additional step by forming an antibacterial print layer of antibacterial offset ink on the outer surface of a basic paper material. SOLUTION: When an antibacterial converted paper is used as the cover of a notebook, a specified print layer 2 is formed on the surface of a basic paper material 1 where the cover and rear cover are separated by a tolding line 6 and the front face of basic paper material 1 and print layer 2 is covered with an antibacterial solid print layer 3 of antibacterial offset ink. The antibacterial solid print layer 3 is formed by solid printing an antibacterial offset OP varnish, having such composition as 0.5-3.0wt.% of antibacterial agent is added to the offset OP varnish, over the entire surface.
