PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the storage capacity of particle coordinates in a space and their time-series data as particle simulation results by composing a method of a process for converting the particle coordinates into compressed information by a compressed code converting process and a process for recording the converted particle coordinates in an external storage device. SOLUTION: An arithmetic processor 101 reads simulation input data 104 on the characteristics, position, speed, etc., of a particle from an external storage device 102 and performs computation according to a simulation program 105. Corresponding to some timing of the simulation, the spatial coordinates 106 of the particle is generated. The generated spatial coordinates 106 of the particle is converted through particle coordinates compressed code conversion 107 into spatial coordinate compressing information 108 on the particle, which is outputted as simulation output data to an external storage device 103. This method can compress the particle coordinates as the result of particle simulation handling millions of atoms to 1/2. |
