摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flaw detecting device where flaw detection data can be automatically read simply by moving a probe with hands and the condition of a defect can be observed as an image. SOLUTION: A flaw detecting device consists of a measuring part 12 for retaining an ultrasonic probe 10 so that it can be moved in the direction of two axes and at the same time for measuring the amount of travel of a probe, a probe position detector which can be sealed to a rail and has a fixed part which can retain the measuring part 12 on a rail top upper surface A and top side surfaces B1 and B2, and a digital ultrasonic flaw detector for automatically calculating the position and level of a defect based on an ultrasonic echo signal obtained from the probe 10 and amounts of travel X and Y obtained from the measuring part 12, for displaying an ultrasonic echo signal on an A scope image, and at the same time for displaying, in real time, the defect position on a C scope image. In this case, the position and level of defect are stored in the digital ultrasonic flaw detector.
