PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain stable spread spectrum communication with a twisted pair wire by correcting a signal subject to spread spectrum processing with a power density distribution in response to a characteristic of the twisted pair wire to maximize the reception power. SOLUTION: A primary modulation section 2 modulates data from a data transmission section 1 and a multiplier section 3 uses a spread spectrum code to apply spread spectrum processing to a primary modulation signal and the signal subject to spread spectrum processing is given to a band pass filter, in which the frequency pass band is limited and a gain correction section 5 corrects the transmission power density distribution of the spread spectrum signal subject to frequency pass band limit. In matching with the gain frequency characteristic of the twisted pair wire, the power density of the signal around a higher frequency band of the limited pass frequency band is increased. |
