FIELD: devices for breaking emulsions of immiscible liquids in petroleum refining, petrochemical, gas processing and other industries. SUBSTANCE: the offered unit has coalescing device made in form of pack of sections assembled of plates of hydrophobic and oleophilic porous-cellular nickel laid in layers in order of increasing of density of pores and cells in direction of flow and angle to horizontal axis of apparatus not smaller than that of angle of liquid backflow.
