PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle which consumes a battery power to the predetermined remaining charge of a battery to reach a destination. SOLUTION: The route to a destination is searched (S14), a travelling pattern in the searched route is predicted (S18) and the intermediate values of the remaining charge of a battery at the respective points on the route are predetermined (S20) in accordance with the predicted travelling pattern. At the time of travelling, the intermediate value of the remaining charge of the battery at the present position is compared with the actual present remaining charge of the battery and, if it is decided that the actual remaining charge of the battery is larger than the intermediate value, the torque share of a motor is increased to increase the battery charge consumption. On the other hand, if it is decided that the actual remaining charge of the battery is smaller than the intermediate value, the torque share of an internal combustion engine is increased to reduce the battery charge consumption. |
