<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase drying efficiency and miniaturize a device by a method wherein troubles due to melting of plastics having a low melting point are prevented even when the temperature of hot air in the entrance of a rotary drier is increased. SOLUTION: In a method wherein wastes are charged into a rotary dryer 10 and, at the same time, wastes are processed through drying by sending high- temperature gas from a hot air generating furnace 36, plastics, included into the waste, are selected and removed previously by a wind power selector 40 as the previous process of drying treatment in the drier 10 while the waste, from which the plastics are removed, is supplied into the drier 10. Then, the removed plastics are bypassed through the drier 10 without supplying them into the drier 10 or the moisture content of the plastics, removed by selection previously, is measured by a moisture meter 52 and when the moisture content is higher than a set value, the plastics are supplied into the low-temperature part of the drier 10 and when the moisture content is lower than the set value, the plastics are bypassed through the drier 10 and are thrown away without supplying them into the drier 10.</p> |
