<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user, etc., to recognize whether or not the memory is actually backed up. SOLUTION: A backup circuit 702 monitors the voltage of a backup power source 703 and outputs its monitor signal VRST to an SAF memory controller 701. Further, a main controller 501 outputs an SAFOK signal inquiring whether or not the backup power source 703 is normal of the SAF memory controller 701 and then the SAF memory controller 701 checks whether the voltage of the power source monitored by the backup circuit 702 is normal or not and outputs its power supply check signal SAFLIVE to the main controller 501, which outputs an alarm when this SAFLIVE signal is reset.</p> |
