<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the quality of an insulated wire and the productivity by judging whether the spacing of a plurality of conductor exposed parts and the shape of each conductor exposed part are normal. SOLUTION: An insulated wire 12 capable of being used as a warning line 30 where a plurality of conductor exposed parts are formed is taken p, and meantime a voltage is impressed from a discharge electrode 36 on the conductor exposed part so that a discharging condition is generated between the exposed parts and the discharge electrode 36, and thereby conductor exposed part is sensed. The passing strip length L of the insulated wire 12 is sensed by a strip length measuring apparatus 54, and the exposed part sensing frequency N vs. the passing strip length L is compared with the set frequency M.n vs. the set strip length uL.n, and judgement is made whether the number and spacing of the conductor exposed parts are normal. The waveform of the discharge current in the discharging condition generated between the conductor exposed parts and discharge electrode 36 is compared with the waveform of the discharge current in the discharging condition generated in mating with the conductor exposed parts formed normally, and judgement is made whether the shape of each conductor exposed part is normal.</p> |
