The operator (1) has a holder with a retaining plate (23) with an opening. The opening opens over an insert channel (26) towards an edge of the retaining plate. The holder's cross-section has, in one direction, an extension smaller than the width of the insert channel, and in the other direction, an extension larger than this width. A holding sleeve (5) has at least one detent (19,20) which fits axially in a detent opening (26,27) when the holding sleeve is turned opposite the position where it can be slid over the insert channel into the holding opening. Thus the extension of the cross-section parallel to the width of the channel is greater than this width.
