Prodn. of cellulose-based foam prods. with defined properties

A process for the definition of various properties of foam prods. contg. cellulosic materials, and prods. obtd. by this process, starting from a pulp contg. water, waste paper and/or waste cardboard and/or other digested or partly digested cellulose-contg. materials, which is subsequently subjected to thermal treatment, pref. by microwave radiation. The process comprises adding foaming agents, blowing agents, stabilisers and other undigested cellulose-contg. materials to the pulp together with silicate materials, residual and waste materials (these additives being used together or alternatively), in definite amts. at definite times in the procedure.
