A diaphragm controlled valve having a valve housing 1 inside which a diaphragm 6 is also placed. A central tube 9 constituting part of the passageway runs through the diaphragm 6. The valve seat 11 is placed in one end of the central tube 9. Its other end is sealed against the valve housing 1. In this way, a compact and cheap solution is achieved. <IMAGE>
