PURPOSE:To easily insert performance data of optional length at an optional position by connecting the performance data behind inserted performance data and rearranging the data so that one performance data is composed on the whole. CONSTITUTION:A performance data inserting means stores performance data, which are inputted from an input means (keyboard 19) one after another, as inserted performance data in a storage means (RAM 12) from behind an insertion start position and connects the performance data present before the insertion start position and the inserted performance data. Then the performance data inserting means connects the performance data present after the insertion start position after the end of the insertion of the inserted performance data by the input means behind the inserted performance data and rearranges the data so that one performance data is composed on the whole. Therefore, the inserted performance data of optional length can easily be inserted at an optional position on the previously stored performance data irrelevantly to the length of the insertion performance data which are inputted from the input means (keyboard 19) one after another to constitute the new performance data on the whole. |
