PURPOSE:To obtain a steel product and other materials which are covered with a colored heavily anticorrosive resin layer of an any color having weather resistance for a very long period by blending a small amount of degradation inhibitor. CONSTITUTION:A surface of a parent material is covered with a colored polyethylene composition wherein at least 0.05 pts.wt. of monolaterally hindered phenol oxidation inhibitor, 30wt.% or over up to and including 70wt.% of an amount of monolaterally hindered phenol oxidation inhibitor of a sulfur oxidation inhibitor having an ester linkage, at least 0.05 pts.wt. of a hindered piperidine light stabilizer of at most 600 molecular weight, at least 0.05 pts.wt. of hindered piperidine light stabilizer of at least 1000 molecular weight, and at least 0.05 pts.wt. of ultraviolet absorbent are blended in 100 pts.wt. of polyethylene. Thereby, a colored polyethylene covering material having long period weathering resistance of about 40 years is obtained. |
