摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-damping member having microholes and high void volume and having flexibility as well and a process for producing the same. SOLUTION: This vibration-damping member is a three-dimensional meshlike porous sintered compact which consists of metallic power or signal or plural metallic podwers capable of forming an alloy with metals or alloy powder and has hole parts and skeleton parts. Further, the porous sintered compact is compression molded and has the flexibility. The average hole size of the hole parts is 50 to 250μm and the average hole side of the skeleton parts is preferably <=30μm. An aq. slurry contg. the metallic podwer or the signal or plural metallic powders capable of forming the alloy with the metals or the alloy powder, water-in soluble hydrocarbon org. solvent, a surfactant, a water-soluble resin binder and water is molded. The org. solvent is evaporated to obtain the molding having the three-dimensionally meshlike structure and thereafter, the molding is sintered to form the porous sintered compact having the three- dimensionally meshlike structure. Further, the three-dimensionally meshlike structure is preferably compression molded.
