PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a refrigerant composition hardly affecting on circumstance, mainly containing tetrafluoroethane and propane in specific ratios and capable of reducing the used amount while keeping characteristics of tetrafluoroethane. SOLUTION: This refrigerant composition contains 25-65wt.% (A) tetrafluoroethane (HFC134a) and 75-35wt.% (B) propane (R290) as main components. Furthermore, when the components A is mixed with the component B so as to contain 56wt.% component A and 44wt.% component B, an azeotropic mixture having an azeotropic point at which chemical compositions in liquid phase and solid phase become equal at -16.4 deg.C is obtained. Furthermore, freezing ability of freezing cycle can preferably be kept by using the azeotropic mixture as a freezing cycle. |
