PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly and rapidly cool a mold by constituting a cooling means of a plurality of heat pipes provided in a heating/cooling plate so as to be extended along the opposed surfaces of a split mold and adjusting the cooling temp. of the split mold. SOLUTION: A heater 26 is heated to heat split molds 7-10 to the glass transition point of a plastic matrix or higher to melt the plastic matrix. Subsequently, a cooling medium is supplied to heat pipes 25 to cool the split molds 7-10 through the heat pipes 25. At this time, by adjusting the flow rate of the cooling medium or making the flow rate thereof constant to once stop the supply of the cooling medium, the cooling speed of the split molds is controlled. When the temp. of the spilt molds 7-10 becomes the thermal deformation temp. of a resin or lower, the split molds 7-10 are opened to take out a plastic molded product from cavities 11, 12 to complete molding work. |
