PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard motor which prevents the entry of cooling water in a shaft pipe into an engine and reduces the transmission of vibration of the engine onto a hull. SOLUTION: This outboard motor 31 is provided with an engine 33 provided in an upper part of an engine holder 32 which also serves as an oil pan 38 and a drive shaft housing 44 in a lower part of the engine holder 32, and a steering bracket 56 is attached on a wall part of the oil pan 38 through an upper mount 57. A drive shaft 42 is extended downward from the engine 33, and seal members 52, 53 are arranged on a joint face of a top face of the drive shaft housing 44 of the drive shaft 42 and a bottom face of the oil pan 38 and a joint face of a top face of the oil pan 38 and a bottom face of the engine 33, respectively, to expose the drive shaft 42 between the seal members 52 and 53. |
