Proposed is a method and device for controlling an internal-combustion engine, the engine torque being calculated as a function of operation parameters, and/or a given reference torque being converted into the engine-control parameters. When calculating the actual engine torque or converting the reference torque into the engine-control parameters, account is taken not only of the engine rpm, the load on the engine and, optionally, the composition of the fuel mixture, but also of the temperature of the mixture and/or the exhaust gas recirculation. |
