Machine component fixed by outer periphery in housing

Either the outer periphery of the machine component is fixed in its housing or its inner peripheral surface holds another component, especially radially heavily loaded bearing race rings of roller bearings. The peripheral surfaces have a sharp-edged, roughened surface with a surface roughness depth of 5 to 50 mu metres, to increase adhesion. The surface is roughened by radiation. The surface is roughened with a corundum of the particle size 50 to 200 mu metres and a barrier impact speed of 30 to 60 metres per second. The component is made of ferrous material and has a surface hardness of more than 670 Vickers pyramid hardness.
