The canopy is based on a moulding (2) of plastic foam with down-turned sides (4). Near its leading edge (3) are recesses for pivotable sun visors (8) flanking a rear-view mirror (7), and for a hands-free microphone (12) and an antitheft surveillance sensor (13) and camera (11). Other equipment includes vanity lights (8) uncovered by deployment of the visors, stereo loudspeakers (10), air-conditioning vents (9), roof lighting (17), an antenna socket (19) and a high-level brake warning lamp (20). Cable looms (SH,SV) along and across the canopy are combined into a single loom (SZ) at a front corner with a central connector (21,22) into the vehicle's power supply and data network. |
