A method is claimed for the production of three dimensional components by electrochemical machining from a metal bar (10) connected to a source of current, comprising the following steps: (a) advancing the bar (10) in front of or to one side of at least one machining cathode (11, 12); (b) producing the determined shapes in the bar (10) by inclining the cathode(s) (11, 12); (c) cutting the bar (10) into sections at the level of a surface following that of the component being machined; and (d) advancing the bar (10) over a necessary and sufficient length for the machining of the next component. Also claimed is the electrochemical machining device.
