SESQUITERPENES, THEIR PREPARING, PHARMACEUTICAL AND VETERINARY COMPOSITION BASED ON THEREOF, STRAIN CULTURE, METHOD OF FERMENTATION

FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: sesquiterpenes were prepared using fungus strain Acremonium strictum XO6/15/458. These compounds or pharmaceutically acceptable salt are inhibitors of benzodiazepine binding with ionophore of receptor complex GABA-benzodiazepine-c1. These compounds were obtained by (i) fermentation of fungus strain Acremonium strictum XO6/15/458 (IMI 354451) or its mutant at culturing on medium with source of carbon, nitrogen and inorganic salts; (ii) by separation of sesquiterpenes from cultural fluid; and (iii) by conversion, if necessary, this sesquiterpene to its pharmaceutical acceptable salt. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
