PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for taking up a metallic honeycomb body capable of securing the rigidity of a take-up shaft with simple means, preventing the occurrence of the breaking and bend of the take-up shaft, high in the shape precision of a winding up core part and capable of manufacturing the metallic honeycomb body stable in quality at a high productivity in the take-up device for manufacturing the honeycomb body by piling a flat metallic foil and a corrugated metallic foil on the take-up shaft and taking up them, especially at the time of forming the winding core part. SOLUTION: In this device for taking up the metallic honeycomb body provided with the take-up shaft 5 for piling the flat metallic foil and the corrugated metallic foil 2 and taking up them, and a pair of side clamps 6A, 6B for pressing and supporting the side ends of the flat metallic foil and the corrugated metallic foil 2 during taking up them, both leg parts of a Y-shaped shaft supporting body 7 are arranged freely movably forward and backward in the direction orthogonal to the take-up shaft 5 and, at the time of forming the winding core part by locking the tips of the flat metallic foil and the corrugated metallic foil 2 to the take-up shaft 5 and taking up them, the take-up shaft 5 is clamped between both legs of the Y-shaped shaft supporting body 7 and the take-up device is composed so as to take up the honeycomb body as reducing take-up load to the take-up shaft 5. |
